Michaels or Joanne's

Hi. I am heading over to the states next Tuesday for a day of shopping and I hope its scrapbook shopping for me. between Michaels or Joanne's is there one better than the other for price and selection?

They are comparable and it sort of depends on what you are looking for, but if I had to pick one it would be Michael's.

Unless you have a JoAnn's superstore near you. THere's one in our area and I love it! If it's a normal Jo-ann's, I'd pick Michaels.

I agree- the Joann's near me is a smaller store, and they offer less of a selection - so for scrapbooking supplies , I'd choose Michael's. May I suggest you go to both store's online site, check the locations closest to where you'll be and see which is the larger store.
