Michael's coupons on mobile smartphone

How do you do that?

While checking out today, I quickly noticed a sign saying you could do it. I figured it was an app for my iPhone, but now I don't see one.

I can open the email I normally get from them, click to see the coupons you would normally print. I have to zoom in to be able to read them. Is this what you show them?

I don't know about Michael's, but I did see on a Joann's coupon, text "blah blah" to "blah blah" to get this offer on your phone. I did it, and got a text with a number in it. I had to read the number to the woman who was on the register from the text on my phone, but it worked.

At Michaels, you just need to show the coupon on your phone. The one you described is good. It needs to be big enough for the cashier to read the numbers as she has to key those in.
