Michael's 50% off coupons for MLK day?

Usually they'll have a 50% off coupon on the holidays......but I didn't see one this week, only one for Joanne's for today.

Yeah, they didn't have them. I was disappointed....

We only had a 40% Michaels coupon. I was disappointed too. Luckily the thing I want to buy is only $15. So, I'll either bite the bullet at $9, or wait until the next 50% - which maybe will be President's day in Feb.

I was there today and 40% off scrapping stickers - got me in that aisle

Also, not sure if it was just a local in-store sale, but they had $20 rubber stamps set for $10 - 16 stamps - thought that was a bargain, too and

all Christmas at 90% off - some of the garlands were decent looking and for 99 cents will look "very nice" outside on a fence, etc.

Used my 40% coupon for an Easter Egg Hunt "item" so I left thinking I did well there today

I used my Joann's at Michaels and got a Disney scrapbook set that was $50 for $25.

At my Joann's last week there were 50% off coupons on the counter for Friday and Saturday (Jan 13-14) and Sunday and Monday (Jan 15-16). I grabbed a few of those. I had also received two ads (exactly the same- don't ask me how that happened ) in the mail w/the same type of coupons. Then, I received an email from them that had 50% off coupons for the same days as above. I had a really good time shopping at Joann's and Michael's on Friday and Monday! I LOVE the fact that you can use more than one coupon at a time at Joann's as long as they are from different sources. Beats running in and out of the store several times! And in case you didn't know, both stores accept competitor's coupons.
