Sad day in the Photography world. Michael Reichmann founder of Luminous Landscape website passed at age 71. His rolling review of the Sony NEX-7 (and the Sony 24mm 1.8z) is a big reason I purchased that combo.

It is with a very heavy heart that I must share sad news with our readers and the rest of the photographic community. After an extended battle with cancer, the Founder of Luminous-Landscape, Michael Reichmann, has passed away. He was surrounded by family and friends over the last few weeks. He put up a valiant fight. He passed late on May 18th at age 71.

Michael's review of Canon's first "affordable" dSLR, the D30, is what convinced me to buy the camera. Luminous-Landscape has always been low on hype and big on real information. He will be missed.
