i dont know if i heard the info correct but they say a new mj single from the this is it tour is coming out in oct... have you heard about it¿?

Yes, it's coming out Oct. 12th with a 2 disc CD set coming out after that. The single coming out Oct. 12th is called 'This Is It'.

Here is an article about it.

The first new Michael Jackson song since his tragic death is set to be unveiled -- and ET has the single's release date.

On October 12, Jackson's brand new song "This Is It" will be revealed followed by a two-disc album to come at a later date. The album, also titled This Is It, will be released internationally on Oct. 26 and in North America on Oct. 27. The two-disc set features music inspired from the documentary of the same name.

The first disc will include original masters of some of Jackson's biggest songs arranged as they would be in the film, while the second disc will be comprised of unreleased versions of some of the King of Pop's classic songs.

John McClain, co-producer of the album, said of the new single, "This song only defines, once again, what the world already knows -- that Michael is one of God's greatest gifts."

That made me sad and happy at the same time. I miss him so much. :sad1:

That and my best friend texted me saying she wants to die because of everything that has been going on in her life. I told her not to be stupid because I don't know what I would do if I lost her. She didn't show up for school the next two days, so I texted her and she told me she has been under suicide watch for the past 24 hours. :sad1:
Why are people just wanting to throw away their life? Nothing is ever that bad. :sad2:

Michael Jackson Tapes

As investigations into the death of Michael Jackson continue to take center stage, viewers will have a rare chance to hear the King of Pop in his own words this Friday, Sept. 25 in a Dateline exclusive, reported by Meredith Vieira. From 1999 to 2001, Jackson was a friend of Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, and he often confided in him. And now, recordings of those conversations -- made with Jackson's permission -- will be made public for the first time.

In the tapes, Jackson comes out from behind his mask to reveal a man who in spite of all his fame, success and musical talent, was desperately lonely. He dishes about celebrities like Madonna and Brooke Shields, but also talks openly about his love of children, the torment of his childhood and his deepest fears. For the one hour special, Vieira interviews Rabbi Boteach, who calls himself "America's Rabbi," about their conversations, detailed in his new book, The Michael Jackson Tapes: A Tragic Icon Reveals His Soul in Intimate Conversation. Rabbi Boteach will also appear live on TODAY on Friday, Sept. 25 and Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Below are excerpts from the tapes:

ON THE IMPORTANCE OF DISAPPEARING:

Jackson: Yeah, I would like to some kind of way to disappear where people don't see me anymore at some--at some point, and just do my things for children but not be visual. To disappear is very important.

IF IT WEREN'T FOR CHILDREN:

Jackson: If it weren't for children, I would choose death. I mean it with all my heart.

ON WHAT HE'S BEEN THROUGH:

Jackson: Anybody else would probably be dead by now, or a junkie, with what I've been through, Shmuley.

ON MANNEQUINS IN PLACE OF HUMAN COMPANY:

Jackson: I needed someone. That's probably why I had, uh, the mannequins, I would say. Because I felt I needed people, someone, and I didn't have, I was too shy to be around real people.

ON HEALING POWER:

Rabbi Shmuley: You feel that God gave you a certain healing power?

Jackson: Yes ...and I've seen children just shower all over me with love. They want to just touch me and hug me and completely just hold on and cry and not let go...and mothers pick their babies and put them into my arms. "Touch my baby, and hold them, touch my baby, touch my baby."

ON GETTING OLD:

Jackson: ...when the body breaks down, and you start to wrinkle, I think it's so bad...

Rabbi Shmuley: So you would die before that happens?

Jackson: I don't want to grow old.

I can't believe it has been three months. :(

Michael, I miss and love you every day. Your music has kept me strong through the tough times I am going through. I miss your smile, your laugh, and your voice, every day of my life. No matter where you are, I hope you are happy and loved. I love you with all my heart, and I wish I could have had the chance to tell you that before you died. Your my hero, my inspiration, my idol, and my god. You make me want to be someone special, someone who helps spread peace and goodwill throughout the world. You have changed my life, through the loss of yours.
With more love than imaginable,
Robin.

I'm watching right now. I don't know what to make of them. Why does everyone feel the need to profit off of his death??!! :rolleyes1 All these people claim they were his "friends', and this is how they honor his memory??!! :confused3 I just don't get it.

The MJ book I ordered arrived today, "Dancing the Dream". It has lots of cool pics and drawings in it. I can't wait to read it. :goodvibes :cloud9:
