Am I the only one? I just find him so incredibly awkward, it makes me uncomfortable watching him. I really don't find him to be that great a singer, either.

No, you aren't the only one, but I don't like his type of music. I guess some people do.

I like him!! I love the sound of his voice and in interviews he seems sweet.

I like him. To each his own. Then again I like Barry Manilow and all sorts of other singers.

Now I am not fond of Celine and she is very popular.

I have never heard him - only saw a CD of his at a Hallmark store around Xmas time many years ago.

I also had no idea who Josh Groban was when he was first on Glee last fall.

Do the two of them sing the same type of music?

Buble is a "modern Sinatra" if you want to compare although no one comes close to Sinatra so forgive the comparison.;)

I like his music, especially his band. Of course I'm really into big band music and Sinatra so that might explain it. But after seeing him in concert once I really don't like him personally at all. He was incredibly annoying - very cocky and full of himself. I don't think I'd go see him again. I also don't think he's particularly good looking, so I found it bizarre that so many women were swooning over him and practically crying any time he looked in their direction. I was almost embarrassed for them. It was a really weird experience.

"Haven't met you yet" makes me smile. I can't help but sing along smiling. I really enjoy his Crazy Love CD even though most of the songs are remakes.

Personally I can take or leave Buble, DH enjoys his music, so I do listen to him occassionally. :goodvibes

I also like his music. But I also like Sinatra and other singers and musicians of his era. I love movie musicals from the 30's-50's. I'm also into Harry Connick, Jr.

MarilIncredible: Josh Groban is more classical in styling. I love his music too.

I love Harry and Josh :lovestruc:lovestruc

I remember when Buble was on TV for the lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas tree. He had his arms folded and he looked so uncomfortable it was hard to watch.

I like his music, I own all his CDs and listen to them all the time. But I have no desire to watch him perform. And I don't think he's that good looking.

I do think what we like & dislike doesn't always make sense. There are plenty of popular singers/groups that I don't care for.

Hey Missy!!! :wave2: I agree, my taste is all over the place, as you know. I can go from Toby Keith to Green Day in the blink of an eye ;)

A friend gave DH one of his CDs. We put it on and halfway through we shut if off. We both love Sinatra and HCJ, but just couldn't get into Buble.

I happen to really like him. But "to each his own" applies to any and all music. For instance, there's obviously a large portion of the population who like Nickleback. They're widely popular, so there must be some appeal there. I, on the other hand, would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard than listen to any Nickleback song (the same applies to Kesha as well...LOL).
:headache:

His music makes me smile. :)

I like him. He's one of the few singers DH and I will listen to together. :goodvibes

But DH is also a Sinatra fan, and Buble sings in that style.

I happen to LOVE him!

I love his music but I also loved Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr too....

I also think he's quite handsome and funny too. I can, however, see how some may think he's cocky and full of himself but it doesn't change the fact that I LOVE him.

I absolutely LOVE "Everything", "Home" and his remake of "Save the last dance for me" and "Sway" and enjoyed that his songs were on the soundtrack of the movie "The Wedding Date"! :)

i don't listen to his michael buble's music, but i saw him on the rachel ray show a couple of weeks ago, and he was SOOOOO funny! and i LOVE a man with a sense of humor, especially one who doesn't mind telling embarrassing stories about and/or poking fun at himself!

I loved the first song (Home), but nothing since. It's like he's just doing a Harry Connick Junior impression.
