Miami to WDW--Best route? How long?

We are going to Disney after a cruise that docks in Miami (lucky us!). We hope to rent a car after getting off the ship. Any idea how long it will take to get to WDW from Miami and what the best routes are?

The most direct route is definitely to take I-95 up to around Stuart, FL, and then get on the Florida Turnpike, which goes straight to Orlando. Google Maps shows 3 hours 39 minutes from city to city, but it may be a bit more or less depending on the actual locations travelling to and from.

We traveled from Homestead to WDW, which is just a tad south of Miami and it took us 3 hours on the turnpike. On the way down tolls were $13. After the race the opened all the tolls up to keep traffic flowing and what do people do after a Nascar Race--fly 90 mph.. We made it back to WDW in 2 1/2 hours.
