Miami DCL transfers from hotel and PAT

We are staying at the EB hotel Miami and using DCL transfers to the Miami port. Will we need to register for our own PAT, or will DCL give us a PAT, or just let us through since we are using DCL transfers?

Will Disney offer transfers back to a Disney recommended hotel, or just the airport?

Will using DCL transfers from a Disney recommended hotel positively affect your boarding group #?

Stayed at EB. You will not need a PAT with transfers. I am not sure how positively it will affect your boarding group. Our bus was due to leave at 10:30 for the boat and left somewhat later due to folks being late for the bus. It delayed everyone. Anything can happen. I guess if your plan is to be at the port as soon as they open, an early PAT and a private transfer is your best bet. The only DCL transfers that I was aware of was back to the airport upon disembarkation
