OMG you guys, thank you all so much! Ok check this out, this is my story and hopefully someone can help me: I got the new Tomb Raider game for my (early) be day present and I have been playing the mess out of it, and also doing some other stuff, so I have not played vmk since...well, since I ran the quest I guess!

So today, about two hours ago, I sign onto vmk. Now I have not checked vmk or DIS in a few weeks and all. I have all these pms saying "congrats" and I'm like...for what? What's going on???? Finally I saw one with "congrats on winning best quest" and I was like NUH UH!!!!! SWEET! (then I checked, and yes, I got the pin!)

Now, I am really bummed at something. b/c I wanted to win best quest so bad, and I did, but it figures that I would win while I was away from vmk. I got the pin and the congrats (thanks again you guys, and all who played! It was a blast!) but I missed seeing my name and the screen shot on the vmk main page! OMG I want to have a screen shot of that SOOOOO bad. I always miss SOMETHING when I am away from vmk for a while, and I figured I just missed a pin or something. Instead, I miss me getting what I have always wanted, the glory of having my little old name up on the vmk page and a pic of my room! I don't even know what the little "blurb" about my quest said!

If anyone ANYONE anyone happened to take a screen shot of the screen shot of my winning room, or what vmk said about it, I will love you forever and ever for sending it to me! (or, posting it here so I can download it, whatever!) If not, does anyone remember what was in the screenie (who was there, who was talking and saying what, you know the drill...what was I saying? Probably something stupid like "my quest is coolio".) LOL j/k. But seriously if anyone has like a photographic memory and can tell me about the pic or what vmk said about my quest, I would love to hear it! I'm sure everyone else on here who has gotten best anything (and there are a lot of ya!) took a screen shot of their 15 minutes of vmk fame, and I'm here to tell ya I sure would have...hey I even took a screen shot of someone else's best game room...RanierEars, I want to say...and posted it here!

I sure hope one of my friends said "Hey, haven't seen Mia in a while and hope she doesn't miss seeing her fame here on vmk, I should take a screenie". I will love you the most and give you a present if you did



Anyways, sorry to ramble but I am so excited! Other than winning inferno in the costume contest LAST Halloween, I have never won anything on vmk before (besides a quest or minigame) and I am loving this! I am go glad my efforts on the quest paid off, and I know it's silly to get so worked up over this but, YAY ME!!!! Ok I said it, yay me. Blah. Now whoever has that screen shot...gimme gimme!

Thanks so much all of you that helped me by playing or helping me set up the quest itself (Empare and the NEW CL_BlueSomebody, special thanks for help setting up, and CL_BS congrats on the new title!!!!) If I forgot someone, I'm sorry and thanks to you too (Starmine, did you help? Can't remember!)

I feel like I won an Oscar and just gave a lame "ooooh-this-is-my-first-Oscar-and-I'm-crying-and-acting-like-a-freak" speech! Hardy har har. In my world, this IS an Oscar!!!! Only, I got the statue, but I forgot to set up my DVR to record the show on TV and I want to see myself accepting the award b/c I was so nervous I forgot what I said! (ok that is my analogy for this: I got the pin, but didn't see the vmk main page headline story on my great win. I'm sure it said something like, "Miakoda, the coolest player in all of vmk history, has finally won something, and it's about time. Her quest was the best there ever was and...." ok I am TOTALLY kidding I am not big-headed. Just excited! LOL). This is a really good birthday present! (It's in 'fix' days!)

Thanks my loverly DIS peeps, and thanks for reading my lame-oh post here. I just really, really really....really.... Hope someone got a screen shot. I don't know why it's so important to me, but it is!

P.S. A big old congrats goes out from me to my old friend I have not seen on vmk in forever since she deleted me thinking I was gone forever: QRUTHIE!!!!! VERY cool looking room! Hope we find each other soon and make friends again, and hope I can see the award winning room! Great work! DIS, we have 'cornered the market' on best rooms! Nowadays it seems like there is always at LEAST one DIS name on that main page! Hehe!

Sorry you had to post so much to be able to do it....weird, I didn't know you had to have a certain number in order to post a pic. Well, I got the one in my email too! Thanks for putting it here also Yay! Again thanks to all who helped me I wanna run the quest some more! I just might do that! Maybe this time with crappy prizes....LOL j/k.

Hmm, I wonder what the girl on the right, goofyzgr....was saying???? LOL! I also wonder who was who in that room (besides the ppl talking). Any DIS people recognize themselves (besides BlueReap) in this pic? If so, post here and say which one is you!

OH, and thanks for coming to my quest, Blue! I think if you were not in there, the staff member (drat, I forgot her name!) would not have been there. I think she came in to tell you something, and maybe that's why my room got noticed!!! I didn't even think she was there to judge, b/c she just said "BlueReap I'm going to go to _____ meet me there when you're done" or something to that effect, then all she said to me was "Nice room, Miakoda" right before leaving. So if you are the reason I won Blue, thanks so much!!!!!
