I was wondering what the process is at entry is it the main entrance or can hotel guests use the side entrance to get into Mickey's halloween treat?? Also, when is the earliest you can get in if it starts at 7:30? My DD9 wants to know if the CM gives you the candy or if you get to pick it? Thanks for the answers as we leave tomorrow night!!!!!

We went last year and will be going again next week. At the candy stations the CM's usually get a small handful and put it into your sack. Although I have seen kids making requests and sometimes if the line isn't really long and they can quickly see what you want they will grab that for you.

Someone said on another thread that hotel guests cannot use the Grand Cal entrance but all must go to the main entrance.

I have a question too for anyone that knows...how early should we start lining up before it starts? And do they wait to let you in until right when it starts or a little before? We got there a bit late last year so I don't know how early the lines start forming. Thanks!

When we were there on the 5th they started letting people in early, though I don't know how early - we arrived around 7:25 and the lines were only 3-4 people deep, so I'd assume they let people in starting about 7:00. There was entertainment in Sunshine Plaza, but they were holding people at the "normal" park-opening hold points - entrance to Hollywood, entrance to Condor Flats, and on the walkway past Grizzly Peak until 7:30.
