MHP wristband?

Hi. We are headed down this afternoon! Excited but worried about heat. We have MHP tickets for tomorrow night. Can we get our wristbands at any time of day (we have hoppers) or only after party guests are allowed in at 3? I'd like to get wristbands in morning then avoid the heat back at hotel for afternoon. I'm thinking it will be faster getting in to party after 5 or so if we already have our wristbands. True? Lines are the enemy in 100 degree weather!

Sorry, they do not start distributing wristbands until three hours before the party starts.

Tomorrow is a Friday party. I would not count on lines going down after 5 as that is when locals coming to the party will arrive.

It can be hit or miss. I went in around 5:00 pm last Friday (first party of the year) and the line to get into the gates weren't that bad (maybe 10 people deep or so).

I was at the Tuesday party this week, we went in just after 6 and there was almost no line to get in at all. The parks were quite busy today though, and I'm sure with the Friday party sold out it will be busier. There were definitely a ton of people headed for the party at 3 though!
