Took this during Tuesday's, 10-26-10, MHP - apologize for the little bit of jostling and the occasional screams, but my arm was getting tired, someone kept getting in front of me and people were screaming behind me. Its about 10 minutes in length

Well, as a mod here, I can say that there are legitimate reasons for wanting to keep as many of the Halloween-related info/photos, etc. going into one thread - it saves space on the board, for one thing. Plus, it gets too confusing for people when there are 150 different threads all about one topic (i.e., World of Color). It's easier to try to have one central location where all of the primary info goes (like a Halloween Superthread). So that's the practical side of things. That's why I encourage most people to post all of their Halloween questions and photos in that thread. Also, that's the thread that is in the main Info sticky at the top of the page, so that's the thread that will be there year-round. All of the other threads that pop up will eventually get buried in the archives.

As for the Halloween thread going off topic, it's my thread (meaning I started it) - and every time I pop over there, people seem to be reporting back on their recent MHP experiences. I haven't noticed too much "off-topic" stuff - at least not enough to totally change the overall thread.

Also, we have a nifty, detailed Table of Contents on the first page of the Halloween thread. And Tiggerholic's video link will be added there, so it would never be buried. It would always be easy to find.

It looks like a lot of talking about Halloween Time to me, people are reporting back on how things are going and answering questions when they arise. If you could elaborate maybe we could work better at it?

Oh no no no! There's absolutely nothing to apologize for! In fact, I figured you would keep the video here in this thread as well. I just wanted to make sure you also added it to the Halloween thread so it will have a permanent year-round home in the Table of Contents/Index, and as part of the Halloween Time superthread in general!!!
