MHP and Character questions?

My family and I will be at DL next week for mine and my Moms birthdays! I'm trying to decide if we should go to MHP Tuesday the 25th (my birthday) or Friday the 28th (my moms birthday). I, like so many others, automatically assume Tuesday will be less busy than Friday but I read another post where that might actually make Tuesday more busy than Friday. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Also, does anyone know which characters are at MHP this year? I'm making autograph cards for my DD. I've heard Phineas & Ferb and Duffy are new this year. What other characters have been seen this year? Thanks!

Thanks! We plan on being in the parks both days, I just can't decide which day to go. I was thinking Tuesday until I started reading posts from others. Also, we love seeing the characters but it sounds like the lines are super long this year. Maybe we should skip MHP all together. I wonder if the same characters are around during the days?

You can see most all day, a few are only for the party. So try to see many during the day if characters are really important. So you only have to wait until night to see the last handful.

Phineas + Ferb + Perry and Captain Jack are for the party. Also if pictures matter the main characters wear costumes at night.

The parties are a lot of fun, and have shorter ride lines too.

I would think both parties would be quite busy, but I think Tuesday would be good. Try to read which characters are only for the party so you are more prepared. I will be attending the party on the 28th so I will also keep a look out for the both of us. :thumbsup2
