What resorts are closest to MGM? The reason I am asking is because I would like to have breakfast before we go to MGM, because there aren't may selections at the park, and I would like to be close to the park. TIA

you can easily get to MGM via the boat which stops at BC, YC, BW, Swan and Dolphin.

We always love to pick something up at the Boardwalk Bakery early in the morning and sit at a table on the boardwalk. The boardwalk is a great place to be early in the morning, real empty and quiet.

Check out the menus on allearsnet.com for the Epcot resorts of Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin. You can walk or boat over to the Epcot resort area from the Disney Studios in about 15-20 minutes. The Friendship boats that run between the Studios and the Epcot International Gateway make three stops at the Epcot resorts. They start running very early every day. We were at the Boardwalk last June and were surprised at how early they started their service......long before the parks open.
As someone said, the Boardwalk area is so peacful and quiet in the morning. A great area for breakfast.

To simplify, is there an option at the resort youre staying at? If offsite, somewhere like a Bob Evans or Dennys on the way? I havent seen a resort in the area that didnt have a place to eat within a block, if not right there in the resort
