What are the best attractions for both a 1 and 3 year old at MGM? I have see the show several times, but I can't remember if you can see Muppetvision 3-D if you don't wear the glasses. How is the Great Movie Ride with young children? Also I would like to see Fantasmic but I'm wondering if it would be too intense for the girls? Thanks for any input!

Mostly, this is what we've done with toddlers:

The wonderful new parade!

The shows:
Playhouse Disney, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Mermaid.

"Honey I shrunk the Kids" playground
Muppet 3-D with glasses on and/or off...
Fantasmic! but our 2 year old usually needs to be hugged the whole time because she's so afraid of loud noises and darkness. Our other DD loves it and she's gone age 4 and 5.

We did the Great Movie ride but again our 2 year old was a little scared because of the darkness.

Good luck!

My DD didn't like Muppets at 15mo, and at 2 1/2 didn't care for any of the shows. She did fine on Great Movie Ride at 15mo, at 2 1/2 didn't really care much for it. She was ok with Playhouse Disney once it started, but didn't want to go in another show when we were in line for it. She loved the playground at 2 1/2, didn't get to go at 15mo. Was ok with Backstage tour both times, and Indiana Jones show, not thrilled with them, but ok. Same with Animation tour at 2 1/2. The parade I think was the highlight of her vist to MGM, she loved seeing Mike and Sully and Ollie and Zowie and the other characters.

To be very frank, there isn't a whole lot for that age group.
To make it at least a fun morning, I would incorporate a character breakfast at H&V, Playhouse Disney and some time at the Honey I shrunk the kids playground (before it gets too crowded). Some of the shows are a little long, so you know your child's attention span... Also, be aware of loud noises and such. My son is 4 and only wants to do Star Tours and then leave!
