MGM Touring question.

We will be at WDW in April. On the 17th (a Sunday) we plan to visit MGM studios. My question is this, since this park offers the least amount for my DS to do, will we regret going in the early afternoon instead of 1st thing in the morning? We have a Fantasmic dinner package for that night, and there are a few things he wants to do such as watch the Indiana Jones show, but we will not be riding the major attractions such as Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror. Any advice is helpful. Thanks! :wave2:

Is there any way you can work in another morning later in your trip if you don't get everything done? We usually do one evening and one morning at MGM. I don't know how old your son is, but my kids (under 5) enjoy many of the shows at MGM--Disney Playhouse, Little Mermaid, Muppetvision, and, especially, Beauty and the Beast. We also go on Star Tours, The Great Movie Ride and the Millionaire Show. The kids' favorite non-rides are visiting the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area, the Pizza Planet Toy Story arcade, meeting characters, and the parade.

So there is lots to do at MGM for kids, and there are some shows and characters that aren't available later in the day. You could go to MGM that morning, take a boat over to Epcot's World Showcase if you run out of things to do in the afternoon, and then return to MGM in the evening.
