We are going to MGM the day we arrive at Disney. The plane gets in at 9:30AM...so by the time we drop luggage off at hotel and ride the shuttles and buses, expecting to be at MGM around noon or 1. I don't think we'll have a problem doing the must-sees. The optionals are just if we have time.

Do we have enough time?

How late is MGM open that night? If it's open till 9 or 10, you should be fine... may not make it through the whole optionals list, depending on whether you plan to break for lunch or "eat on the run." If it's closing much before that, I would fastpass my way through the must-sees and not bank on any of the optionals...although if you get lucky and crowds are light, you may get in more than you think. IMHO, I would skip either the stunt show or the parade, especially if the park's closing early. The show is pretty good, I didn't think it lived up to all the hype though, and it's LONG. The parade is all right, not the best Disney's ever had, not the worst either...but during the parade is the best time to do rides, since everybody else is watching the parade. But if they're both really important to you, go for it and just do the best you can on time. And try your best to get to the optionals, especially the Great Movie Ride. That's just such a great attraction.

It closes at 9 that day. We are going on a Monday in between the EMH days so maybe that will bring crowds down. Thanks for the advice. We'll see how we are doing when it comes parade time if we want to do more attractions or not.

You'll want to plan to be to Fantasmic about an hour ahead of time. So, I'd cut your touring time down by that right away. When you get there, I'd try to snag a FP for TOT or RNRRC right away. This will reduce one of the larger lines. You will most likely have to return later, but's on your way into the park anyhow. If you go down there and either ride is 20 min or less standby time, I'd try to accomplish that then and FP the other.

Also, be sure to check your time guides. You'll need the times for WWTBAM and the new stunt show. You can get a FP for WWTBAM (even if you are not in your window to get one-- actually in ALL of my trips we've always had a CM standing there passing out FP's).

The Backlot Tour is lengthy. If you want to spend time looking at the props afterwards then I'd block out an hour for this.

I think if you really plan carefully and don't get sidetracked you'll be able to see what you want. The only probelmI see is that 4 out of your 7 attractions only occur at certain times. This is going to call for some really careful planning. Especially since you'll only have 1/2 a day to catch them all in.
