We have done Brown Derby (enjoyed very much), Hollywood and Vine (okay), and Mama Melrose's (didn't care for it). As between Prime Time and Sci Fi, which do you think will give us a better overall experience -- food, service, fun, etc.? It will be me and my 12 DD (who has never ordered from the children's menu) and we be going for a dinner.

Thanks

I have an ADR at 50's PT in September. It will be our first trip, so I probably shouldn't have voted, but I did! :rotfl2: I read lots of reviews and spoke with my IPO guy (we are staying concierge level) and he recommended 50's over Sci-Fi. I will also have a 12 y/o and a 10 y/o girl, so I hope they enjoy it!

We've been to both several times, and we'd choose 50s Prime Time for dinner over Sci-Fi. We really love and enjoy the atmosphere of Sci-Fi, but we go for lunch. The atmosphere of 50s Prime Time is alot of fun. You and your DD should enjoy yourselves very much.

We have an ADR for 50's Prime Time in December. We ate at Sci Fi when we were there a long time ago. I was actually excited to go there again, until I realized that the menu was totally different (didn't seem like much of a choice) and then I also read tons and tons of bad reviews, so we decided to try the 50's Prime Time Cafe. I hope whichever you decide on you enjoy!!! Have a great trip! :goodvibes

Not the biggest fan of Sci Fi, but Prime Time is a hoot! Tons of fun and comfort cooking!

Thanks all. Looks like it wasn't a contest at all!

We enjoy going to Prime Time as well. We have always had a good meal there and the interaction with the servers is great.

I voted for the Prime Time Diner. I've never been there, but I have been to the Sci-Fi Dine-In and was very disappointed. Food quality was awful, and the service was slow. Our waitress was also rude and unhelpful. If you want to check out the Sci-Fi, go for desert. :)

See you just never know! We ate at Prime Time in 2004 and are not in a hurry to go back. Service was just okay, and our food was nothing to call home about, at all. Sci Fi on the other hand, we love . The food has been quite good and the atmosphere and theming is outstanding! I had the ribs last year and they were pretty good too :).

I would say 50's Prime Time. It's a lot of fun and has really great food. That being said, I've never done Scifi Dine In Theater, but I've done Prime Time twice.

Sci Fi is fun and the food is OK but 50's Prime Time is more fun and we think the food is better. DH loves their fried chicken. Of course a lot of the fun at the 50's depends on your server. We've had some wonderful ones. DD loves a picture of "Cousin Bob" force feeding me my green beans one year! Now I get her to eat them for me.
