MGM Star Wars opening

Do they do anything special at the openning at MGM during Star Wars weekend? My finace and are going Frid May 19 and I want to be there if they do something - he loves star wars so I want it to be a suprise!

The only thing i'm aware of is that the storm troopers are there to greet you at the gate and they patrol the ticket plaza roofs for the majority of the day.
