MGM Soaps Weekend

Hi! Does anyone know the dates of the "Soaps Weekend" at MGM for this fall? Has anyone been at WDW at this time in the past, not wanting to partake of these festivities? How crowded is MGM? We aren't interested in the Soaps festivities and are wondering if we need to avoid MGM during this time. All suggestions are welcomed! Thanks

November 8-9. MGM is typically a mob-scene during this event. Some of the more popular soap stars(ie Susan Lucci) have autograph lines up to a few hours long. They sit at tables while guests wait for a chance to get their autographs, and sometimes are granted a photo opp.
