MGM Parade, Thurs. 12/5, 2:30*UPDATED 11/25*

UPDATE: Majority rules that the stairs to the Old Theatre is the Best viewing area (I think I know where that is). Please meet in that general area and, make yourself known!! I'm expecting you!!! For those of you going to 50's after the parade, just let Dave know, he's got a handle on us possible-late-arrivals.

ALSO, please keep signing up if you haven't already! Rah-Rah, Whoo-Hoo!!

I'll be leaving WWTBAM early, if I have to, to arrive here so, look for a short, heavy-set 'MOM' with an Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular t-shirt on, (At least I'm thinking I should wear this one that day!), AND Announce yourself!!

I think we will be somewhere in MGM that day so put Joe and I on the list. I saw a little of this parade last year it is really neat with the cars and all.

As far as I know, I am doing the parade. Where and when? I just follow the crowd, but looking for good camera angles.

How or what did you get an OK on?

We watched the parade from in front of Star Tours in Sept and we had a great view of all of it and its not that far from 50's Prime Time.

PattyN, you're in the same boat as I! Doing as much of the MGM as possible that day! I look forward to meeting you at one or the other or, ALL the events!

So far, all but 2 of those who responded are NEW people interested!!! That's just great!!! I know a few others are planning on meeting us so, I'll wait to 'hear' from them also!

I saw a couple former MGM parades (Aladdin & Toy Story, I believe) in an area that circled around us (somewhere in front of the Now Sorcerer's Hat) which would be great but, only if roped off just for us!

I watched (and videotaped) the parade last year from in front of "The Hat". I was not overly impressed, but then again, I don't really care for the parades.

Thanks for posting the map Dan.....made me feel excited about going again. I am looking forward to my first Dis con but have been feeling guilty about leaving the 2 little ones. Seeing the map made me feel excited again about seeing all the great stuff at Christmas time and meeting all you guys.
