We aren't die hard fans..actually I could care less about star wars. DH just watches the movies when they come to the theatre but by no means a big fan. We'll be at WDW when they start Star Wars weekend. Monday the 16th is our MGM day (we already made PS for H&V so not really into moving the day around). We might try to fit it in on the weekend if possible... but would we miss anything?

You would miss the characters from the movies. I have never been, but this is what I have read...

If you're not a big fan of the movies I guess you wouldn't really miss that much. I think it's a lot of fun, but that's just me. I wouldn't go to the Soap Opera thing they have there, but I can understand why a lot of people would. Don't feel like you have to go just because something special is going on. You'll probably be better off going on Monday when the Star Wars crowd won't be there to make it more crowded.

We are going to be at MGM the same day as you. We are eating at H & W at 4:20 for Fantasmic package. Sometimes it seems like a small world. I don't know how old you are but I grew up watching Star Wars. I would be really disappointed not to get a pic with Chewie or a Storm Trooper. If only to show off to the other :cool1: DORKS :cool1: at work. We all love Star Wars and think it would be a waste not to seize the moment.

We'll be there at 4:10. It's a small world after all ;)

I'm still trying to get it changed to a later time so we aren't eating that early but if I can't get a later time it can't hurt I guess. Just have to be sure not to eat lunch late.

I tried to change mine til later as well. The CM told me that most of the Fantasmic packages are that early and I wouldn't be able to get a later ressie. I thought I was busy on these boards I just noticed you are approaching 1000 posts since February. :) Have fun. Hey where are you staying at? We are at the CR.

The real attraction at SWW are the celebs and the SWW related activities (trivia contests, et al). If Star Wars aren't your thing, the only thing you'll be missing out on are the non-SWW attractions at the Studios.
