MGM- ESPN Weekend

Hello all! I just noticed that ESPN weekend has been announced for March 3-4 at MGM. I will be at Disney with the family March 3-10 and of course had MGM planned for Sunday, March 4 along with the Fantasmic package. I am thinking I should probably change my plans and my reservations. Does anyone have any thoughts?

we were there the past two years over this weekend. It was more crowded at MGM that day. If you can change, I would.

Although the crowds will be larger in MGM that day, most of the crowds will be focused around ESPN the weekend events so if you're planning on doing non-ESPN the weekend attractions, waits should be about the same as you'd find on any other day there.

We were there this year during the weekend and noticed no difference in wait times for the MGM rides and non-ESPN attractions. We're going again next year and plan nothing special to aviod MGM.

I agree with Matt. Plus he's the authority on D-MGM. I've been there once and recall no real differences in wait times between ESPN and non-ESPN.

We were also there during ESPN the weekend last year. Outside of some extra events and people near the Hat I found no difference in crowds or wait times. I wouldn't change plans.
