MGM,Epcot, or Blizzard Beach for Sat afternoon 1st weekend in Oct?

We are taking a youth group to WDW the first weekend in Oct. On our first night, Fri, we are going to MNSSHP. So , the next day will have to be a late start day. The options that I have narrowed down to are BB, Epcot and MGM. I am worried about a water park on Saturday, and going to MGM after park opening seems risky and that it will be difficult to get on RNR and TT. I lean towards Epcot, but most of the group has NO desire to go to Epcot. They think it will be boring. I know better, but go figure. Most people want BB or MGM and I am thinking we could do BB at park opening and then go to MGM and do a late sit down lunch to rest and then do the highlights and then Fantasmic, but I am worried about crowds. A itinerary website that I subscribe to says sat. night is perfect for MGM, but I am still skeptical--if anyone has been on Sat night during regular season, please let me know! I need some good advice!!

I'm not an expert, but I'd avoid BB (locals hit water parks on the weekends as well as vacationers)
Epcot might also be busy with the first weekend of food and wine...I say go for MGM!
