:Ok we arrive on a Tuesday and leave on the following Monday my question is out of the 3 parks mentioned above what one can be done with a 2 year old (almost 3) the fastest? :confused3

Im trying to figure which park will be least exciting for the little one? EPCOT??
Im trying to plan my first day (arrival day we get to orlando at 10:45am)

What park out of AK and MGM can be done in the least amount of time (NOT RUSHING) just trying to plan some pool time or resort hopping for lunch/dinners?

Thanks for the info im just trying to do a rough itinerary so i can pick my restauraunts.

For a little one, geez I think I'd pick Epcot. It could be done the quickest. That's so hard for me to say as Epcot is my favorite park!! LOL! :flower:

MGM and AK have things geared toward tiny ones... play areas ,shows for that age, that Epcot really doesn't have.

When you do go to Epcot make sure to stop at the Kidcot Stations in WS.It's fun to make a mask.

AK is a park that almost requires a slow pace. You'd miss so very many details.

MGM would be the fastest park for me. I find it the least interesting and I'll bet your little one won't want to sit through all those shows.

EPCOT can be great fun for little ones if you allow them to interact in the many countries. The fountains and water areas alone are enough to keep them happy for quite some time.

I hate to say it but AK is the easiest to cut short, you can't do any of them with less than a full day... the AK is best done slowly, but it is at least possible to see Dinoland and do one of the trails on a short day. You can go back and really enjoy it when you have more time.

EPCOT futureworld has many things a little one would enjoy. The living seas is neat. Several 'ride' shows that are good for young ones. I think the World Showcase is harder with a little one but try to hit at least a few pavillions. England has Pooh and often Mary Poppins to see. Marraco has a nice indoor (air conditioned) area to see Jasmine and the Genie is back there sometimes too.

MGM has Playhouse Disney, Muppets 3-d, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Beaty and the Beast stage show... all things my youngest enjoyed. It is hard to do this park even with a full day because there are so many shows (at specific times).

I found it helped me slow down and enjoy what we could fit in if I remembered that WDW would still be there next year. :goodvibes

This is a tough one, but I would go with AK. I LOVE this park, but my DD didn't like it as much, and was NOT interested in the wildlife at all. She knew we were at WDW, so I think the animals just confused her (Is Mickey in there with the monkeys, mommy?).

I would also say AK because this time of year it tends to be the hottest park, so if you've got to rush through one...why not choose the one that will probably be the most uncomfortable anyway?

DON'T RUSH THROUGH EPCOT...I almost went that route, and it turned out to be a highlight of our DD's trip...there's a lot to see and the kids stayed really stimulated. Kidcot stations were fun, as well as the passport sticker book thing. I think for a first trip EPCOT is a MUST-SEE!

Have fun on your trip!

I would say AK. I do love this park and my 4 yo DD does too! You can do it quickly. Some of the attraction you just walk through so no line no WAITING you can set your own pace.

Another vote for AK. MGM is my second choice because there are a handful of things for that age group, but a lot geared at an older crowd, so you can probably get through it fairly quick.

Not Epcot. There is so much to do at Epcot - especially if you take the time to hit the KidCot stations.

AK is my youngest's (6) favorite park. She would happily spend our entire trip there. My oldest has always liked Epcot (we told her once that a lot of kids didn't and she looked confused and asked, "Why?")

MGM probably has the most appeal for little kids overall though. AK does for animal lovers, but hard to do quickly, whereas MGM's appeal is mainly in the shows, which have specified durations. Of course you might get trapped in the HISTK play area! Also, MGM is the physically smallest of the parks, making traversing very easy.
