Hi.

I've noticed that a lot of people on the boards talk about EPCOT/MK.Well my favourite place to be in WDW is the Studios.
For me walking up Hollywood Boulevard just puts a big smile on my face.

My favourite ride has to be the Tower of Terror.Everything about the ride is amazing. The story, the grounds, the dusty lobby, the spooky preshow and the cool special effects on the ride. Finally you get the scary as hell drop and not just once anymore either.

The studios is home to my favourite parade,The Stars and Motor Cars parade.Over 100 characters and 15 cool cars.15 minutes of pure magic.

Home of Peevy's Polar Pipeline.Frozen Slurpees that taste like heaven.

So i'm I the only one who loves MGM Studios.I hope not

I also love MGM. As a child we always visited MGM on our first day so it holds fond memories for me. I love RnRcoaster, Star Tours and The Great Movie Ride. Plus the Muppets is a work of genius! I always find it a very pleasant day, not as hard work as some of the other parks.

Love Verity.xxx

My fave park is also MGM!!:Pinkbounc
For me, it's the street entertainment that I love the most. It makes my day, especially when dh always seems to get dragged up to join in :teeth:
what ever happened to Francis Floot
jeanette:wave: :wave2:

I love MGM too - love Tower of Terror, WWTBAM, Star Tours, and Muppets - and the chance to meet Kermit and Miss Piggy!!! Great parade too!!!

I've only been to WDW once (much to my chagrin), and I thoroughly enjoyed our day at MGM. We had terrific meals at The Brown Derby and the 50's Prime Time Cafe. I had a fabulous time watching the Toy Story little green soldiers do their thing ("Operation Sign and Smile!"), and I screamed myself hoarse on the ToT. I also really enjoyed the animation exhibits. The best thing about MGM was that we felt like we did a lot, saw a lot, rode a lot, ate a lot (!), and we spent the entire day there, but we didn't feel completely exhausted by the end of it. It was actually a very relaxing day.

Sigh ... I could really go for a Cobb salad right about now.

Another MGM fan here! I love all things film, so MGM has always been one of my favourites! Love the parade and getting to see some different characters like Buzz, Woody and Monsters Inc. Hollywood & Vine is one of top Disney eateries (shame the characters went, I have such fond memories of Minnie in her glitzy Hollywood gown dancing with DD here).

Best rides / attractions? Rock and Rollercoaster (sorely miffed I wont be able to ride this this year due to pregnancy!). Muppets 3D, Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Millionaire, Voyage of the little mermaid...have I said them all yet??!!

Me and DH STILL havent ridden Tower Of Terror (utter fraidy cats). Maybe one day!

The only way MGM could be improved would be an interactive Russell Crowe exhibit (open only to me :teeth: )...swooon!!

MGM is THE BEST!

Allie

Yep

I probably enjoy Disney MGM the most out of all the Disney Parks, but it's not the RnRCoaster or the Twightlight Tower of Terror which swings it (though they are both excellent), nor is it Indiana Jones.

Nope, my Favourite Ride has to be Muppet 4D.:3dglasses

Where else can you have chicken firing a cannon over your head at the Swedish Chef behind you.

And the final line by Waldorf and Statler is worth the admission price alone!!

Its probably the only Disney park we're doing this trip as we are staying on site at USF. Love ToT and will be doing RnR Coaster for the first time!!!! Can't wait!

Favourite ride is Rock n' Roller Coaster (though it is over too quickly!)

Favourite show is The Little Mermaid.

I also love the Great Movie Ride (though accept it is very outdated now. The alien scares me every time though:scared1: )

Karen

The Studios is probably our favourite park too. Would agree with all the previous posts as we enjoy everything that MGM has to offer. Just a little surprised that no-one has so far mentioned what we consider to be the jewel in MGM's crown . . .

FANTASMIC!!

Hi Guys

Seems like I'm not the only one who loves MGM.I love the muppet show, the remote control pie makes me laugh every time. The muppets just make the best 3D show ever.
I haven't done Fantasmic yet,we didn't do it last time as everyone was so tired. Its a must in december,I can tell you.
We had the coolest time at the Hollywood and Vine character breakfast(no longer exists,Boo Hoo). The characters were brillant fun,I played peep po with pluto(Big kid,I know).Great fun and Great food.
I can't wait until December to do all my favourite rides and shows again.

Cheers

Jon

Are you two related?

Only, you're both from East Devon and you're both going to Disney at exactly the same time (according to your countdown clocks)

If not - it's a Twightlight Tower of Terror Zone moment

oooh

:confused3

I am comforted knowing there are others out that Love MGM also! ToT is ABSOLUTELY my favorite ride, but not my DH! LOL :faint: But I am cruel and make him go anyway!

I only wish that we could actually walk through more of the lobby! It is so cool!

Jon

We love MGM too and seem to spend a lot of time there :)

Tower of Terror is my favourite ride there. We love the parade too - you can always find somewhere great to watch it.

Fantasmic is fabulous too - great evening entertainment!

and the best thing is.............it is only a little walk from our DVC home ;)

I love MGM it's my favourite park. It has a unique atmosphere. Even if I didn't go on any rides I'd still love being there, I even quite like the big hat.
I love The Little Mermaid, Indiana Jones and Fantasmic but The Great Movie Ride IS MGM studios.

Libby

favorite attraction - tower of terror .....
In fact, in my opinion, although there are many many many great WDW attractions, the only two attractions in WDW actually worth waiting 2 hours for are Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror....

as for my second most favorite attraction at MGM....it's not there anymore.....Hunchback of Notre Dame...we loved it...must have seen it 100 times before they ended its run..
i wish they'd bring it back...

Beth

I agree :) Hunchback was a great show - we once saw it once in 2000, it was such a shame they closed it :(
