Just want to add that I just got off the phone with a CM (to make other ADRs) -- this is Wednesday evening, about 9:00pm EST. I asked casually about the new chaacter meal at MGM and she said, "did you hear that from Disney?". I said no, I read it on the internet. She said, "We just got a memo on this. We have been told there is a rumor going around and to tell guests that no new character meal is scheduled. We would hear it before anyone on the internet."

not really "news", but I thought I would pass it along.

The CM I spoke to today to make the rest of our ADR's said she has had nothing official come across her desk but she has had a lot of people calling to ask about it (3 this a.m. alone.) She laughed that we seemed to know about it before they get the official word, then said she's always the last to know everything. She was super friendly and laughing. I got my other 7 ADR's for the times I needed and for my whole group of 8. So it was a very good call and I hope to be calling soon to add this final meal.

What will I do if I don't get this one????

I'm sure we will all be hearing the same "script" soon. At one time the catalog CMs had a script they had to say when someone asked about Song of the South being released on video/dvd.

Just called dining and there is still no news about the character meal!!! However, she did confirm that there would be one but that they have nothing as to when for certian. She thought that it might be sometime between June and the first of August but that I should not quote her. Just have to keep checking!!!

I sure hope they get things up and running by the first of June, otherwise there will be no way we would be able to do it.

Well, then atleast it's pretty certain thay they will have one - I just hope they have it ready by June! My DD loves Toy Story even more than Princesses!

I called today to change another ADR and of course asked about this as usual. The CM told me that they "have not released anything offical yet so it is not available for booking" Now that sounds pretty for sure that it is coming dont it.
I asked her if she knew when and she said to keep trying. Now call me crazy but I dont thing a CM would not tell people to keep trying if they didnt know it to be soon. It would just make more work for them for no reason,

Also she said she had heard rumors also about a new charater meal at Epcot starting in November. Whoo hoo!

WHEN I WAS CHECKING ON MY ADR'S TODAY I WAS ALSO TOLD KEEP CHECKING. WHEN I ASKED MAYBE ABOUT A TOY STORY WITH BUZZ SHE COMMENTED MAYBE A HEROCHARACTER MEAL. I AGREE WHEN SHE SAID NOTHING AS OF NOW BUT THEN SHE ASKED WHEN ARE YOU COMING AND I TOLD HER JUNE SHE SAID IT CAN CHANGE SO DO KEEP CHECKING.
