It's fun to see the characters in their fancy "character" cars. There are still some that walk and interact with the crowd. You may see some that you're unable to see elsewhere (Star Wars, Jo Jo's Circus, Muppets etc.).
In Feb. '05 DD(6) & DS(4) were patiently waiting outside of Star Tours when a CM came over and said she was looking for a Prince and Princess for the parade. They got to assist in holding the rope at the end of the parade! She gave them each a Magical Moments certificate. They still talk about it!!
That parade is one of our favorite memories from our trip last November. We were traveling with DS4 and DS7 as well as four neices and nephews ages
1 1/2 - 8. All of the kids loved it!!! It is a bright and colorful parade and there are TONS of characeters. It seemed to be less crowded than the MK parades, too. All of our kids got to sit right on the curb with only a 15 minute or so wait. I'd definitely recommend it. Also - we took lots of pictures of the cars/characters - I don't usually take photos without the kids in them but they asked me to so I clicked away and they still enjoy looking at those photos
