Mickey woke us up at 6:30. I am starting to realize that getting this family out of the room on time will NOT be easy day after day. The kids have their own room which we thought would be nice. However, as soon as I leave their room, the words "Get dressed and brush your teeth" magically change to "Run around the room chasing and poking each other."

We had intended to hit MK EE today. Weird thing - the bellman told hubby that the MK is busy every OTHER day. Since it was busy on the 4th (Friday) and not busy yesterday (Sat.), hubby says we should stay away. MGM EE was yesterday so we decide to go there. I called Disney Dining to see if we can change our PS for 50s Prime Time. All kinds of time slots. We pick one then set out for the bus. We decide to travel light today - everyone just wears a fanny pack (well, and clothes and shoes).

We were going to kiddie swap for Tower of Terror but in a moment of bad parenting, decide that jr. stitch should try it. He did Haunted Mansion twice, how bad could it be? After all, it's just a giant frog hopper kind of ride.

I was told he didn't scream - I have no idea because all I could hear was me SCREAMING!!! That was scary. I bought the photo to forever remember our experience. Stitch may need therapy as he is now mute and not saying anything. Very strange behavior for him.

We got FP for R&R Coaster then did The Great Movie Ride and Star Tours. Time for R&R. As we were showing the CM our FP at the return cue, this old guy runs up and shoves his fist between the CM and I. He's trying to show the CM his fastpass and push past us. Could you wait 5 seconds please!? Where's my purse so I can smack him with it? Oh crap. We left it in the room. He had to wait long enough for me to say Thank you to the CM. This guy was on my tail the whole way thru the line. Every time the cue got wide enough for him to pass us, he and his wife were trying to cut us off. Good thing I didn't teach my kids manners like his or we would have tripped him. He did end up getting on the car before ours because we waited one extra car to get the front seats. Hubby gets to go now and the kids ride in the front seat again. Everyone loved it. Steven Tyler was the best part for Mom.

We have to cancel our PS for 50s because the vouchers are in my purse. I knew I couldn't live without it. We ate at Pizza Planet which was fun. It was around $40 for 3 combos plus 3 souv. mugs for the boys. Not too bad.

We did Voyage of Litle Mermaid and my Grumpy got goosebumps! We were right by the exit and as soon as the show was over, we ran across the street and into the Playhouse Disney theater. The show was about to begin. What great timing!

We did Muppet Vision 3D, shopped for Moychendice in New York, rode Star Tours again (no line!), met Buzz, Woody and Jessie, and watched the parade. Time to go shower and get ready for our big surprise! The longest wait of the day was 10 minutes to meet Buzz and Woody.

I go to the Pepper Market and get 2 meals to go - Chicken Alfredo and some kind of beef dish plus a side of fries and 2 apple pies ala mode for dessert. Used vouchers - I think the total would have been $32. I had to carry all this food back to the room which as you know is only 72.1 miles away.

The kids are supposed to be taking a quick swim with Grumpy and getting showers while I get dinner. I get back to the room and they are not back! We need to leave for the Poly by 8:15 to check in by 9:15 for the cruise. We all ate FAST and I took a super quick shower and blew dry my hair while they dressed.

We had a super stressful bus trip to the MK with me checking my watch every few seconds and muttering we're not going to make it. The kids kept saying "Make what?" We caught the monorail which deposited us at the Poly right at 9:15. Guess who you saw running full speed thru the Poly again? Yep! That was us!

We found Captain Shannon waiting in the boat. We tell the kids that this is their surprise. We get the awesome parents award for the year. She suited up the kids with life jackets and we took off. The Grand Floridian was stunning at night. Grumpy says that next time, we can stay there. Someone pass the tissues.

We went to the Wilderness Lodge area and watched the light parade. Stitch falls asleep propped up inside his life jacket. Our boat captain snagged a spot dead center in front of the castle and we could hear the music from the MK. The view was unbelievable. Our captain was great and when the fireworks were over, she took the kids on a bumpy ride - jumping waves and doing donuts - as best you can in a pontoon boat. They loved it! It took 3 adults to wrestle jello legged sleeping Stitch out of his vest. We walked thru the Poly and waited for the bus to DTDisney. We should have taken a cab because despite leaving the Poly at 10:30pm, we didn't get back to the room until midnight! It put a little tarnish on the day but we looked at it as an adventure.

This was the best day yet!:D
