Any experience eating at Mexico in Epcot with food allergies? I'm allergic to gluten and dairy. Do you think it would be ok to eat there?

have dairy, mango, shellfish and cashew allergies. I had no problems at the restaurant outside the Mexican Pavilion. They took good care of me.

I've only eaten CS there but we did have a good experience. Just be aware that it seems as though different chefs will tell you different things about the corn chips. Some will tell you that they're gluten free and others will tell you that they're cooked in the same fryer as gluten containing foods. I won't order them just in case (chefs have told me for several years that they're fried in shared fryers). Because of other allergies we are limited in what we can get but we've enjoyed the beef and chicken soft tacos (soft corn tortillas) with rice.

I am allergic to wheat, soy, and dairy plus must follow a low FODMAP diet. On our recent trip, I ate at both La Hacienda and San Angel Inn with no problems and thoroughly enjoyed both meals.

I LOVE La Hacienda. It's one of our all-time favorites.

I'm not sure about food allergies but San Angel Inn did a great job for my dietary restrictions. I am on a sodium restricted diet and was a little worried about eating there. The chef came out & talked with me and then cooked me the BEST steak that I've had anywhere at WDW. :goodvibes
