Anyone packed? Not us.... I do have the luggage out...... and FE all done.

nope.. not packed here... BUT I did get the laundry done... finished the FE.. and FE gifts... finished Halloween stuff for the kids classes (Halloween is their first day back after the cruise)... and made my DD a poodle skirt for the 50th day of school.. aka 50's day... (Nov 1st)... WHEW...

I have started putting some of the clothes we are taking (formal night etc) on the rack in the laundry room instead of the closet... getting things together in one place.. to make it easier to pack ... I hope to start packing tonight.. MAYBE...

We have not brought booze on board but DH loves buying rum in the Carribean and tequila in Mexico. Great prices! We are almost through our tequila from April. Time to get more!!

cabo! I did a test one at our local mini golf place, but this will be the real thing. Sort of scary. someone (an employee of the zipline company) died on one in Hawaii a little while ago while testing an adjusted line. I'm sure that the company in Mexico is more established and has a proven safety record.

We are! We're not either but thought if we're in the room it would be nice to make our own drink w/o going on deck. We're bringing Coconut Rum and probably Vodka.

Looks like high 80's low 90's in P.V., fingers crossed no storms/rain. In Cabo mid 90's. Hot, hot in Mexico. But I've heard during sea days especially heading back to San Pedro it can be chilly on board.

I think it's normal to say who they are from. We will be putting a little note on ours.

We will have a brief 15-20 minute meeting in the Promenade Lounge at 3:30 to finalize stateroom numbers for those with guarantees and anyone who receives an upgrade upon embarkation. This is very informal but should you like to stay and chat, have a drink (I highly encourage this...it makes the required life vest drill at 4:00 that much more fun!) or introduce your children you can certainly do that, however only one adult member of your party is required to attend to confirm your room number. I hate to be the FE police , but if you or someone from your group is unable to attend, then you will be excluded from the gift exchange as others will need your information to locate you on board. If for some unforeseen reason you just absolutely cannot make it to the meeting (please, please try your hardest), you may call my stateroom under the name Adam or Tara Brunin and leave a message with your information prior to 3:00 and I will pass on to the rest of the group. Additionally, I will call you back late in the evening with everyone else's information.

I encourage everyone to print a transcript of this post and bring on board, but I will have lists printed to handout at the meeting as well. Happy finalizing your gifts and I very much look forward to meeting everyone. Have a WONDERFUL trip!!

If my husband wears a dress shirt, dress pants, tie and vest will they let him into Palo? I wasn't sure if they would require him to wear a jacket?

We're driving to San Diego on Friday to visit with family and then heading up to LA area Saturday night. It's nice to not need to worry about packing for airplane travel for once! Excited for our first cruise! See you on Sunday.
