Your Palo pictures are really making me wish I had gone there! Especially the chocolate souffle... Sigh...

And we are in complete agreement about the lobster tails! They were huge. (We had five at our table among me, DH, and DD. But they were so worth it...)

What was your last towel animal? They are all so cute!

I am still adding more pictures and video to each day, but you can find my trip report at:

Thanks cmwade77. And thanks for designing our cruise thread logo.

EXCELENT report. The food you guys had, Our table had a very similar palet so not as much variety around the table and there were 8 of us.

Hey, quick questin for you. In which dining rooms did you eat each night? For Pirate Night, Gala, etc?

I am trying to figure out if there is any kind of "usual" pattern. We want to book Palo, but don't want to miss any of the main dining rooms..

Thanks! :)

Great TR :goodvibes

Thanks for posting so many yummy pics.

Yum, yum and more yum!!

Bookmarked, and copied over to our Cruise Meets thread:thumbsup2
Thank you soooo much for scanning all those Navigators and Menus!

We're 300 days away, and can't wait!! LOL!

Awesome trip report ... I am going in Nov 6 for my first :banana: Disney Cruise (Mexican Riviera) You report has so much informtion and has totally helped me start my planning ... Any tips you could give a newbie?:woohoo:

hey,

really enjoyed your report and the pics.....we will be on the 25 sept cruise so counting down the days, and looking at those food pics reminds me of why I'm going to the gym :rotfl2:

thanks again

Still wondering if someone might be able to answer my question...

IN the OP's amazing report in first posts, they list the different menus for each night. My question is what was the actual dining rotation for the nights when they had unique menus... Golden Mickey's, Captain's Gala, See You Soon, etc.

Just trying to get a handle on which restaurants we may be in each night.... thanks :)

The special menus are the same night in all three restaurants. So one night, all 3 will have the Golden Mickey's Menu. Another night all 3 will have the Pirate menu, etc. Palo menu stays the same.

Thanks, I was aware of that... have been on a 4-night cruise before :)

What my question is what was the rotation of actual restaurants ...

i.e.
Day 1=Triton's
Day2=PC
Day3=AP
Day4=??
and so on...

ON a 7 night, do they follow the same basic rotation of restaurants such going 1-3 then simply repeating 1-3 or do they bounce them all round. It would seem they would have some type of order to make it simpler, and since I have never been on a Disney 7-day I was just wondering how they did it :thumbsup2

Do these ususally stay the same for future cruises (ie. 9/25/11)? Thanks.

The answer is really yes and no. The navigators will stay pretty much the same for several months, but then with no real warning they change. Probably because of lessons they learned (going from 3 showsto only 2 on Dream), changing seasons, etc.

So , yes they stay the same... right up until they don't anymore :)

One thing you can see by observing the Nassau or Caribbean navigators... they do change at times, but not really by alot. YOu may not be able to book a daily schedule for everything you want to do and when based on old Navigators, but you can trust the basic premise of what they do and approximately when they do it :)
