Methods of Payment accepted by Disney

Hopefully I'm putting this in the correct place...if not, mods feel free to move this lol...

Anyway I just have a question about the methods of payment accepted by disney. Does disney accept travellers cheques at all the parks as well as DTD? I need to start thinking about how much $$$ I need to bring and I was hoping it wouldn't have to be all cash, and I'll get horrible exchange rates on my Visa card . Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Yes, and if you are like me with a $100 travelers check wanting to buy something small and feeling bad about all the hassel with the cart and change. You can go to guest services and they will cash it for you at each park. (I hate paying $100 for a really small item, I feel bad for the people who have to make change.)

Does anyone know if they accept Visa debt cards? I received several hundred dollars worth for Christmas from my daycare families..specifically to be spent on our trip in January.

The pre-paid ones that are gift cards? Yes, if the place you are shopping or eating takes visa.

In prior experience though if you owe $55 and the card only has $50 on it you have to run it as $50 and then another one as $5 it won't just charge the amount and tell you that you owe $5, it will deny the entire transaction.

As wdw would say bring lots of $$$ ,I get 50$ checks its easyer to use then 100 ones I found out.
