I know everyone has been seeing the "server busy" message often and it's very frustrating. We just keep getting busier and the servers run out of steam. At one point today we had about 2000 users on.
I'm looking for short term solutions but the real answer is another server upgrade and that takes a little time to arrange. I think we have outgrown anything I can do with 2 servers and we are going to have to move to a server farm of 3 servers so it needs quite a bit of research. I'll try to get it done as fast as I can!

Wow, that's awesome that we are growing (see, I am trying to look on the bright side). I am a member of some MSN Groups and the servers here are nowhere as bad as theirs, so I am not getting that frustrated.

They did some tweaking and it seems better although a little slow

BUT we had over 2000 people on the DIS at once today so I guess
a little slow is understandable

Thanks for the message I was starting to think it was my computer! I also agree that the Dis still moves alot faster than alot of other boards as it is, can't wait to see how much better after the upgrade.
