Merry Mixer

WHat dates are the mixers held? Somehow I missed this info!

Every Thursday (in December) from 3 to 5 p.m.

We were there also on Thursday, but had to leave shortly after it opened for reservations at Tony's Town Square and MVMCP.

I also thought the line for the merchandise was a mess, and refused to stand in it any longer than 10 minutes. I agree that they should have had a separate line just for the pins. The rest of the stuff could basically be purchased at any DVC resort.

Other than that, I thought the party was very nice... and I am disappointed that I missed the DIS table!

I suppose as my mom's associate we won't be able to attend? Mom won't be with us this trip and as an associate I don't have a card. Weird that I have a number.. can make reservations, get member emails but that's as far as it goes. Oy vey.... poor me!

We were there and said HI to the MI dis'ers in the back!!! I got to meet a few more people from the Dis Boards! It was very crowded and I thought the Summer Mixer at PI was better organized and more fun. That's just MHO!

We were there on Thursday and I definitely agree about the merchandise. We were in line outside the tent around 2:45. When we got in, we got right in line for the pin. We weren't going to stop at the mixer since we had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern scheduled and were going to MVMCP but DD had to have the pin! By the time we were able to pay for the pin, the line for pictures with Minnie and Mickey was long. We got in line anyhow since we wanted a Christmas card picture. Just before it was our turn (only one more group in front of us) it was time for Minnie and Mickey to leave. They were replaced by Chip and Dale - which made a good picture too. We saw the table of Dis'ers (could tell by the lime green) but had to leave for the MK since DH is a fanatic about being on time. All in all, a nice event and one I would do again. Only without the evening plans so that I could chat with other DVCer's!

We did and had a GREAT time!

We did. My only complaint was it was so humid that day, under the tent it felt about 100 degrees. Got some great pictures with the characters though.

I would have loved to check out the pins, but that line on the 7th was just horrendous!!!! I did get to meet some new DISers though,,,that was nice.

There are some listed on ebay - that's where I saw the picture. Hope to get one next Thursday 12/28
