Merry Mixer Question

Does anyone remember what day of the week this have been held in the past and when they seem to start?

It has been on Wednesdays or Thursdays of December. I believe most recently it was Wednesdays. We should be getting notice of this about September. It for sure will be way too late to book anything, but nice for those of us already scheduled to go in December.

One of those DVC quirks -- need to plan 11 months ahead but then they don't announce when the "good" stuff is until 2 - 3 months out!

If it was on Wednesday, wouldn't it conflict with Welcome Home Wednesday?

Last year, the Merry Mixer was on Thursday.

Last year, I think Welcome Home Wednesday's were suspended during December.

Now that you mention it, I don't remember Welcome Home Wednesday's being held during the Merry Memeber Mixer.

I just looked up an old post from last year.

Last December, there were two Welcome Home Wednesdays that were cancelled. December 9th (because of the annual meeting) and December 31 (NYE).

All the other Welcome Home Wednesday's still occurred.

Actually - I looked back and they had originally announced it for Fridays last year but it was actually Thursdays. And it seems it has been Thursdays the past 3 years. It would be nice if they'd announce it sooner than they do.
