Merry Mixer dates announced

The dates for this year's Merry Member Mixer have been posted on the DVC member's website. The event will take place the first four Thursdays in December. The dates are December 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Yeah, but first it says every Friday in December:

Merry Member Mixer

Celebrate the holiday season by mixing and mingling with all your Disney Vacation Club neighbors. This complimentary Member event will be held at the International Gateway entrance to Epcot® every Friday in December from 3 to 5 p.m. Remember to bring your Member I.D. — it's required for admission.

The whole family is invited for an afternoon of festive fun, such as Disney character photo opportunities, an activity area just for kids and a merry special giveaway. We'll also be decking the halls and enjoying light refreshments.

This event is just one of the many perks of a Disney Vacation Club Membership — and our holiday gift to you.

The dates were posted last week and DVC says that Friday is a typo. They have requested that their vendor remove the incorrect information.

It has been fixed as of this morning and now reads the first 4 Thursdays in December both places.

yay! I'll be there on the 3rd, I fly home on Friday so it hought for sure I would miss it. This is my 1st time visiting in December...I am so excited!!!

Will they still have the Welcome Home Parties on Wednesday afternoon?

What a shame that there won't be one on December 31. We always travel December 26-January 1 and this'll be the first time in 4 years that there isn't one that week. I'm majorly disappointed.

That's a shame our flight gets in on Fri evening and leaves the next Thurs afternoon....I was looking forward this year. BUMMER!
