Glad to see they brought this back. We did the last one last year and loved it! Sadly we won't be attending this year as we are heading out to Disneyland in December. Have fun everyone!

Add the OnMedic family to Dec. 8th. We are also doing MVMCP on the 8th, so we will do the mixer from 3-4/4:30 and then head on over to MK for the party.

We did this last year, went twice. It was alot of fun. We ended up doing an add on at SSR.

Also, we took friends from the UK who we met on a DCL cruise several years ago and met us at WDW for the holidays. There was no problem getting them into the mixer, they were warmly welcomed. They ended up buying in to SSR also on this trip.

I'm sure that scenario is not uncommon and cetainly planned by the DVC marketing folks.

We'll be there on the 15th! Just read my clubhouse email this morning and found out about it. We went to one of the mixers at PI over the summer and the boys had a lot of fun!

Thursday the 15th is our first full day at WDW (first visit as DVCers), so we might come by. We are planning on spending the day at Animal Kingdom, that was the park Touringplans - dot - com recommended. (we've never tried following their advice for which parks on which days before- so we'll see how it goes)

Since AK closes at five, we might leave early and stop in at the Mixer. We have dinner reservations at Raglan Rose that night at 7, so if we go to the mixer we'd probably re-schedule dinner to someplace at Epcot (do you think Epcot would be unbearably busy on a Thurs. night?).

Even if Epcot is super busy, as long as you get a PS (or whatever it is called now) you should be fine. I would call right away and check on the restaurant's your interested in and see if you can get in. My guess is that it will be busy. We tried to get a PS that night and it took some doing but we got 7:00 at Chefs de France. However, there is 13 of us, so that may be why it was a little tough to get the tiem we wanted. Good luck and hope to see you there.
