We had a lovely dinner this evening, and now Santa has come. The tree (well under it) is loaded with gifts, mostly all for a little six year old who is asleep upstairs. (His Da too)! LOL.

Tomorrow will be a good day, filled with presents, more good food and family.

Ho ho ho!

Last night it was fondue with friends and my parents (who have been here for a week and are staying through the holidays). Great night!

Today, we had our traditional Christmas breakfast of ham an poticca (remember when I told you all about that on the wedding thread?). And I currently have two ducks roasting in the oven for Christmas Dinner. They'll be joined by risotto made with turkey stock and romano cheese with some minced craisins tossed in at the end (I figured dried cranberries in turkey stock risotto would be very "holidays feeling") and bacon wrapped green beans.

Yeah. It's all about the food at our house.
