We don't normally have any Christmas Eve traditions... when at my parents, my grandparents would visit and we'd put out mince pies, carrots and a glass of milk, but now I'm with DBF, we don't really do anything special, apart from travel!
Last year we were in Disney, having dinner in Chef Mickeys, and this year we shall be at DBF's parents house!

feeling under pressure from this forum to get my backside in to gear and dig out the Christmas dec's!! So have now got them all out of the attic and made a start. This is the first time EVER that I have started before December! Thanks for that guys

Looks like everyone is getting organised .... I suppose I had better start thinking about Christmas once we hit December, which I think is Thursday .... as I am working all week I may delay those thoughts until Saturday. My first plan is to make some Christmas Cards for my overseas friends and get those in the post.... and I need to give the house a good tidy up before the Christmas tree etc goes up on 12th December. I suppose I should also think about buying some gifts. Do I sound enthusiastic .... I very much doubt it, but hopefully I will get the buzz once we actually hit December

So how is everyone getting on with their Christmas planning ? Have you finished shopping ? Wrapped all your presents ? Written your cards ? and bought your party outfit ?

I've done about 95% of my shopping, I just need to buy some bits and bobs to finish off. All my pressies are wrapped and my cards have been written and posted, I've just got a couple of presents to post this week along with my cards to my friends in the US and Canada. The only thing I have struggled with is a party top, there are loads of sparkly dresses out there, but not many tops

Ooh, I'm a little excited this morning as I'm hoping to see the Coca Cola truck in Coventry this morning (I know, sad eh? ), altogether now .. 'Holidays are coming, holidays are coming ..'

I am pretty much all ready for Christmas now, i've written all my cards, finished all my shopping & wrapped it. The decs are up, the alcohol & sweets have been bought. Bring it on!

I got there nice and early while they were setting up, so got some nice pics with not many people around. When the 'Holidays are coming' music started I did feel rather Christmassy (lol, haven't I been Christmassy for weeks now ? ). Here's a couple of pics

I'm nearly ready - about 90% presents bought, all the ones I have bought apart from about 2 are wrapped and under the tree. I'm hoping to get the last few this weekend. I'm finishing off my christmas cards this week, I've had a fair few gingerbread lattes from starbucks, made and eaten a few mince pies, and watched many many christmas movies!

I got into work this morning and the 'elves' have put up the christmas decorations, and we had some christmas music on this morning, so it's all feeling very festive!

great pictures Mandy, the Coca cola truck arrives here on thursday and I cant wait. Its our Pre school Christmas Party In the Morning and Santa is coming then off to see it in the evening should be a really festive Day.

I have been a bit behind this year,but slowly catching up now and my Christmas spirit seems to be going into overdrive
