Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas to all the Fort Fiends! I hope you have a wonderful day, and a year full of visits to the Fort!

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Forecast of 1-2 inches in the SC low country tonight. So where is the global warming?

Hello Bob .......... I sure hope we will be able to make it back down to the Fort in 2011! Our youngest daughter and her family really want us to go down during Easter but I am not sure that I want to travel down during that busy time or not. Also, our oldest daughter, son-in-law and our other two grandchildren just moved to OK in July of this year and we are trying to spend as much time with them as we can. We were fortunate to be able to spend most of this past October with them and are now trying to determine when we will be able to fly back out for another visit. So, I am not sure if we will make it back to Disney this year or not.

If things work out and we are able to get back to Fort Wilderness this coming year I hope it will be at a time that you and your wife are there also so we can see you again!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I know I'm a little late (2 days of visiting family here there and everywhere)...

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

Sitting here in southern NH on the couch with Blizzard.... waiting for the big BLIZZARD to arrive! :dance3:

Not all, it's snowing pretty good right now at our home. Expecting 1 to 3 inches. I know what some of you are thinking. How can that be?

I'll bite - Louuuuuuu, where are you????? ;)

Just outside of Atlanta. First time in over 100 years that it's been a white Christmas. And no, I wasn't here then.
Just talked to my daughter that lives near you and she's getting ready for a foot or more of snow.

Where were ya, away on business?:lmao:
Disney frowns on me taking the bus off property, picky, picky, picky.

We have 2 kids living in the Atlanta area and 2 in New England so it made sense to own houses there and alternate where we spend Christmas. Next year, New England, burr. The sacrifices we do for kids.

:rotfl: *I* didn't say that!

It's here! Went from nothing to snowing like mad. Every time we turn the weather on the accumulation totals keep going UP!

Looking like true Blizzard conditions (the wind's a whippin') and somewhere around 1-2 FEET of the white stuff!

Party poopers! pirate:

Enjoy your visit with family and safe travels when you head back south!

Thanks Lisa! Hit the market earlier today so we're well stocked with food at least.

And we've got plenty of wood for the fire and propane for the grill if the power goes out.

Man it's howling out there though... I haven't seen a storm like this around here in AGES.

I hope everyone at the Fort, or dreaming of being at the Fort, had a great Christmas, and will have a Happy New Year!

Heading north FROM Disney for Christmas, I saw a lot of RV's heading south on I95, and each time wondered if they were going to the Fort.

Today I'm stuck in the north, with these "snowbirds"!

Wish I was at the Fort, or at least HOME!
