Mermaid tails in Disney hotel pools?

I know that pool toys are not allowed and I don't know how they'd classify this. I'd call to be sure.

One thing to remember is that the pools are often very crowded and there are a lot of children and it would be highly unlikely that you'd have much room to 'mermaid swim'. And I can see where Disney might feel they could be a hazard to other guests (getting 'fin-flipped' accidentally) or the wearer (getting crowded in the deep end with one's legs basically tied together), especially if the wearer is a child. Disney has no way to know the wearers swimming ability.

But it sure is cute. Being a mermaid was always my dream as a child. One I haven't quite given up on.

I checked a sat view of the hotel and its 3 small pools with 3 very small hot tub like pools. If allowed, probably not, I doubt you could get 2 kicks before you got to the the other side of the largest pool.

Thanks everyone. I confirmed with the hotel manager of recreation that no fins of any kind can be used in the pool at any time.
