Merida (and her horse) in parades?

Do Merida and her horse, Angus, make any regular appearances in the parades at the Magic Kingdom? I don't usually pay close attention to the parades, but I noticed in the background of the Disney Christmas parade show that Merida was riding her horse Angus down Main Street. I checked online and found a few photos of Merida and Angus in the parade, but many of those photos looked like they were from her induction as an official Disney Princess.

I'd love to see her riding in person, but I have a feeling this only happens on special occasions...

Merida has her own float in the Festival of Fantasy parade, but Angus only appears for special occasions.

I didn't even know Angus had ever been around. Nice to know though, hope they bring him back!

I don't think Angus would make an appearance unless the he was being lead. I don't thing many friends of the princesses know how to ride, much less to calm a horse god forbid it would go out of control. (I don't think the headless horseman counts, since his he is completely costumed and is most likey ridden by someone from the ranch)

Merida's frequently seen friend has been spotted riding Angus on special occasions, as well as leading him once or twice.

Yes, good point about the riding skills. In the photos I've seen, Merida is riding but Angus is also being led by a handler on the ground. Since Angus looks like he's generally around 18 hands tall, I'm guessing they don't want to leave it up to Merida (riding in a dress) to have to stop him if he spooks

Hello fellow fan! And yes, until I caught a glimpse of Merida riding Angus in the Christmas parade show on TV, I had no idea they even trotted out an "Angus" for any events with Merida.
