I have a stay booked with my dvc points for 2 nights a beach club at the end of the month. I've been checking for months but nothing has come up for additional nights. I found a confirmed reservation on a dvc site that I could book for an additional night. Would I be able to merge that with my existing reservation? Both are deluxe studios (I'm not sure if they have different views though)

Nope. You can not merge reservations into one if they are booked on different memberships.

It wouldn’t even work if both memberships were your own. All you can do is ask that owner to note it’s a continuous reservation with your own and tot do the same, each listing the others reservation number.

Can't merge reservations from different memberships. Arrange with the other owner to put a note on the single night reservatiom that says "continuing reservation" and cross references the reservation number of the one you made. Then put a similar note on the reservation you made, cross referencing the other. They will try to keep you in the same room. In most cases, rhat does happen. Good luck.

There is no view in BC studios. Just tell them on chat that you want to stay in the same room, tell them both reservation numbers. They don't want to clean it, so it will most likely work. There have been a few stories of this not working, but it costs Disney money, so they probably won't make you move. Check again with the front desk the day of "check out" to make sure.

I've done this many times (two member numbers) and never had to move. It's more likely to work in BC, because you aren't in a situation with few studios and shuffling lock-offs, like, for example VGF1.

Make sure the guests are identical before you start chat.
