Merchandising jobs?

I need to earn a little extra money through the holidays, and was trying to find some merchandising companies to possibly work for.

I go to school FT, and work about 30 hours a week. I just have some expenses coming up and I would like to try and add to my savings.

If anyone had ideas, I'd appreciate it.

In my area, they post a lot of these jobs on a site called snagajob. It has merchandising jobs for greeting cards, dept stores and magazine/end rack displays. Good Luck!

I have had good success by looking at the companies verified on this website- Volition.com http://www.volition.com/getpaid.html

I've signed up with a few different mystery shopping companies and I've always gotten paid. My mom does a lot more than I do.There are drawbacks to this type of work. Most of the time the pay is low and you have to wait upwards of 60 days for the money. My mom also does merchandising jobs that she signed up through here.

My mother has worked in merchandising on and off for years. She's semi-retired now and merchandises American Greetings (and other things) in Florida. I wish I could remember what company she said she works for, but she did mention snagajob. I believe she worked for the same company before they retired to Florida as well, so she enjoys it.

My sister merchandises for American Greetings and I know another lady that merchandises for Hallmark. Keep your eye out for people straightening cards in Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, places like that, and ask if they work for that store or another company. Ask if they will give your name/number to their supervisor.

My sister also merchandises for a company called Baker & Taylor - they supply the craft books and kid books at Michael's craft stores. I know a lady in another state who works for still another company that supplies the books to Lowe's. Anytime you see someone stocking that is not wearing the uniform of the store you're in, ask.
