Merchandise returns to different location?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but a quick look at the search didn't help me, so here goes.

Last week I bought my niece a Vera Bradley backpack at MouseGear for a birthday gift - now I found out that her school doesn't allow backpacks that don't match their uniforms, so I need to return it. However, I have no plans to return to Epcot as a guest anytime before Flower & Garden starts, and I know there's a limited return period. Does anyone know if it's still OK to return things to a different merchandise location? I do have the receipt and original credit card.

Thanks, Robo! I thought it was OK years ago but didn't want to take the thing to AK today and then get told no.

Yep, It is recommended that if you see something you think you might want just buy it cause it may not be there later. At the end of your trip if you decide you really don't want it or found something better just return it at your Disney resort gift shop. Be sure you have your receipts.
