Merchandise credit?

Just got this pin - Buy a $500 merchandise credit for only $395. Did anybody else get this? What does "merchandise" include? Only gift items or can it be used for food?

Disney is trying so hard to get my $$$ right now. If only they'd give me something I could use. I'm certainly not going to spend $500 on souvenir's but if it included food items I'd do it.

I got that too...and looked over the fine print...it didn't say anything about food so I am assuming "no food". It repeatedly said merchandise and excluded some places, and tours. ??? I figured I wouldn't use $500 for merchandise but it wuold be a good deal if you were!
