Menus

How correct are the menus listed on the DIS site? I have reviewed a few and already noticed things missing on the menu from our last visit. Ex: no steak on the dinner menu at Kona. Just wondering if maybe it is actually a mistake. We are eating here for my DH's bday and he is looking forward to the steak he ate there last visit. Don't want any disappointed peeps especially on a bday!

We were just there in Dec 2010 and if you are referring to the pineapple teriyaki glazed steak they had it and my was it delicious.Hope this helps.

I would look at the menus on this site, on Allears, and on Disney's own site to get the best sense of what is available.

If you're really interested in a specific item, then the best bet is to do what you did and ask if on the board if anyone has had it recently. This site and Allears rely on readers to submit menus for posting, so they're only as recent as the last time someone submitted something. I know allears asks readers to submit photos of the menu, so hopefully they're pretty accurate and complete.

I think the OP was referring to the DIS board site because that menu doesn't have the steaks listed, while Disney's own site and allears include the steaks.

It was probably an oversight on the part of whoever submitted or posted the menu on DISboards.
