I'm not usually a fan of buffets (except Boma and Cape May:rotfl:), so haven't been paying attention to their prices over the last few years. However, I have decided to take my grandson to WDW Feb 4th-11th and would want to do alot of character meals with him. I checked and was shocked that I could get us into every character meal at pretty much the times I wanted. However, when I went to allears I noticed the prices for a child's buffet is $20.00 for a 3 y/o? When I checked on the WDW site it shows $36.00-$59.99. Is there anyplace that shows the accurate price? I have the TiW card, but am second guessing myself now. The child's DDP sounds like a better deal for a 3 y/o, except I'm looking at two TS meals/day, so would still have to pay for at least 6 TS and 6 or 7 CS meals OOP.:headache::eek: Not sure if the TiW would still be the better deal or the DDP and then paying OOP using the TiW where I can for the other 6 TS meals. meals.

Does anyone know the current child and adult prices at these restaurants:

D 1900 Park Fare
B Hollywood & Vine
D Chef Mickey's
B Cape May
D Crystal Palace
B 1900 Park Fare
L Coral Reef
D Garden Grill
B Ohana
L T Rex (OOP not on DDP)
D Ohana
B Tusker House
D Garden Grove at S/D (OOP not on DDP)

then seven counter service meals (6 lunches and one dinner). This is a very tiny kid that will turn 3 y/o just a few days before we leave and eats very little (like 1/2 corny dog) so can easily share CS meals. I know there is no sharing at buffets, but find it hard to believe they charge over $20.00 for a barely 3 y/o, who may eat three bites.

The closest that I've found is AllEars.net. However, they sometimes include the holiday surcharge and sometimes don't (and don't mention if they do or not). They also sometimes include tax and sometimes don't (though they're better at stating whether they did or not). And they sometimes say "Updated xx/xx" and really all they did was fix a typo.

That's about as good as it gets online.

I've heard (but never actually done it) that you can call Disney Dining and get the actual price quotes for your dates. So that may be an option for you.

Does anyone know the current child and adult prices at these restaurants:

B Hollywood & Vine $13.99 per child and $24.99 per adult during 'value' season in September 2011
D Crystal Palace: We ate breakfast here, not dinner but the prices were $22.99 per adult and $12.99 per child during our September 2011 trip.
D Garden Grill $16.99 per child and 34.99 per adult during 'value' season in September 2011

Our counter service meals for the kids were usually 8.00 or less and those include their drink/2 sides and the main course. The sides were always things like chocolate chip cookie (packaged), chocolate pudding, gelatin, grapes or carrots.

We found that All Ears had pretty reliable prices, although on some menus they did list Holiday pricing so our meal was a bit less. Some of their menu prices seemed to include tax as well as they were really off numbers like 23.75...etc?

We have 3 younger children and 2 teens and after a few days of the QSDP they were really just ready for a PB&J LOL....so don't overbook just to see characters, you can catch those in the park. Especially if he doesn't really eat a lot, it's a waste to pay that kind of money just to see a character that probably has a meet and greet somewhere else in the park.

You may want to do the Deluxe Dining Plan which would take care of all your TS and CS meals and give you 2 snacks a day. The cost for 2012 is right at $24 for a child and $85 for an adult. You can use your credits for both TS and CS and since it looks like you already have 2 TS planned for most days, you should come out a little ahead money wise. You may lose a little on your price, but you'll more than make up for it with DGS's price. The only things you would have OOP are the ones not covered by the plan and you could change those to ones that are if you want to make the best use of your credits.
