Menu change at LTT????

I heard a rumor that they have changed the dinner menu at LTT Say it isn't so! I heard that it is no longer an all-you-care-to-eat, and instead it is preplated, with very little choice. I am concerned because we have ressies before MVMCP on Dec. 1! Any info. would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've been going every year and it's always been all you can eat, but family style. Same food always.

Do you mean we will each get our own plate with food on it already? The same food? and you cannot ask for more? CRT is preplated but you CAN ask for more.

I haven't heard anything on this rumor.

I would really like to know as well... we were planning on dinner there on Dec 4th.... maybe if you call wdw-dine they might have some answers regarding it

We were just there 8/28. It was a family style all-you-can-eat. We were able to ask for more of anything.

I was there this past Wed 8/31 and it was the same as always with the same food coming out served family style. The only change I noticed was the drinks served in commerative glasses.

I was just there 3 weeks ago and it was the same as always and fabulous! LTT is my fav & my familys fav & all was still wonderful, same food and all you can eat. No changes at all! HTH Kim )

We ate there on 8/29, last Monday, and it was still all you wanted to eat. The only thing I noticed different was that we got green beans instead of carrots this time.

Okay, it seems like the rumor is NOT true, but I figured it would be best to get info. from people recently there. As with all rumors, perhaps something was lost in translation or something. My friends told me that their neighbors found this out somewhere (who knows!). Well, I for one am HAPPY that it is the same as this is one of our family's absolute favorites. Thanks fellow DISers for your input on this one!

Whew...almost had a panic attack there. Just talked my picky eater brother (he is only 38!) into LTT and 'Ohana....now that 'Ohana has changed we dropped that....if LTT changed guess we would just have to leave him home!

Sorry to give you a panic attack , believe me I almost had one myself when my friends told me this "rumor". I would hate for your brother to have to stay home.....I have a picky 31 year old brother, and he also loves LTT so needless to say, now he is still going on our trip!

I remember the pre-family style days. MAN was it good...and that was pre-characters in there so it was much more quiet...It's only been family style maybe 10 years, if that long.

I wonder if those were the green beans once served at Ohana's!!!

We were just there a couple of days ago. They had the string beans again, no carrots. DS loved them so much he had his own plate full of them while the rest of the family had dessert.
